StoryMash
StoryMash
is on online fiction forum where I have posted several of my orphans.
These are short bits and pieces of stories that didn't fit into other
longer works, or that I've never quite figured out where they were
trying to go, or what they were trying to say. I've posted them on
StoryMash where they can be finished later, either by me, or by other
writers. StoryMash pays for popular stories, and regularly run contests
for the readers and writers. I currently have several stories (story starts) posted here, in order of most recent:
*The
Universal Cover Up came in second place in one of StoryMash's prize
contests. I came up just a few percentage points shy of the $100 prize. **
To Attack In Haste is a bit of a departure for me. It was written at
the request of a possible client who wanted to see my take on a very
specific situation. It was kind of fun, though, so I added it here. |
| Great news!
My writing was featured in one chapter of the new book, Can My Marriage Be Saved,
published by Pass It On Publications. I was blessed to have the
opportunity to tell the story of Ron and Nancy, one of the couples
featured in the book. Their story is one of many amazing examples of
troubled marriages that were able to rebound and thrive. Check out the website for the book. |

Most-Recent** and Noteworthy
Those marked * are among my favorite articles, and come highly recommended.
** I've been working on other projects, and not writing for Digital Journal as much recently. DJ is a GREAT forum for writing, but I have to commit time to it on an "as available" basis.
For a complete up-to-the minute list of my DigitalJournal.com articles, follow this link: Eric Wyatt at Digital Journal
DigitalJournal.com pays me for each story, depending on the popularity of the story. If you want to help, the best thing to do is to register as a "Citizen" which basically means you log in to view the stories that Citizen Journalists (like me) are posting. When you are logged in, your viewing the story, voting on the story (up-voting) and joining in the discussion all help increase the amount of payment the citizen journalist receives.
During my first week on DigitalJournal, I was honored with a weekly award, shown at the left. Additional awards soon followed. If you are interested in becoming a Citizen Journalist, you should visit the web site and apply. Then, let me know you've joined!
Your support of my work at Digital Journal is very important. The more people who vote, the better I can do with this supplemental income. Please consider joining, and regularly reading and voting!

Welcome to the new web...
This is under construction. So, instead of the cute little web graphics you normally see, I decided to use an actual photo. One of my own.
I am moving in here. Cleaning up a little bit, boxing up the important things from the old place, tossing out some of the items no one has touched in years, and generally re-deploying the content scattered in both my fotopages site, and my blogger site.
If all goes well, I'll turn the keys in to those pages eventually, and make this my home. I see this being a bit different than the others. I see it as "moving on up", Wheezy. Content will be easier to manage here. The things that are fun at the time (political sniping at John Kerry, for example) can be relegated to their proper place, while more important writing can be more easily accessible.
And the photos. I want to do a better job of showcasing those.
Oh, and I'm planning, just this once, to write a
legitimate biography for this little site here.
Changes come, turn my world around....
See you soon!
